If you’re like most people, your iPhone is one of your most important possessions. So what do you do when it goes missing? Whether it’s lost in the couch cushions or stolen outright, there are a few things you can do to find your lost iPhone.
First, try using Find My iPhone.

Fis a great way to find your lost device. If you have iOS 13 or later, you can use the Find My app to share your location with friends and family, or find a missing device. If you have iCloud backups turned on, you can also use Find My iPhone to restore your device from an iCloud backup.
If you don’t have Find My iPhone set up, you can still use iCloud.com to find your device. Just sign in with your Apple ID and password, then click on the Find My iPhone icon. Once you’re signed in, you’ll be able to see your devices on a map and get directions to them. You can also put your devices in Lost Mode, which will lock them and display a custom message on the screen.
If you’re not sure if you have Find My iPhone set up, you can check by going to Settings > iCloud. If the slider next to Find My iPhone is in the ON position, then you’re all set.
If you still can’t find your device, you can contact your carrier and report your device as lost or stolen. They’ll be able to help you find it or disable it so that it can’t be used.
No matter what happens, the most important thing is to not panic. With a little effort and some luck, you should be able to find your lost iPhone. And if not, you can always get a new one.
